Can you withstand extreme heat?
When you are working in a laboratory, there is a couple of equipment and tools that is necessary to help you accomplish any task. Having a complete set of laboratory apparatus such as, but is not limited to, test tubes, compound microscope, test tube racks, test tube holders and many more can definitely help accomplish any experiments in progress. Heating equipment is also required within the confines of the laboratory such as lab furnaces, refrigerators, measuring devices, ovens and many more. However, it is vital that a laboratory has a decent furnace. More often than not, heat tests are conducted. This means that lab furnaces should be able to withstand extreme temperature without malfunctioning.
This particular equipment should have atmosphere controls which can help maintain temperature. The good news is that, present models are more convenient to use and have reliable computer programs and applications. Moving forward, a laboratory will not be complete if it does not have any laboratory filters. This apparatus helps disintegrate small unnecessary particles from samples. There are two kinds of laboratory filters; the first one is the membrane filter. It is used to filter suspended matter from gases and liquids in experiments. These are often used in huge laboratories. The second kind of laboratory filter is the centrifugal filter which is usually found in small laboratories. This kind of filter removes nucleic acids and proteins.
A laboratory’s reliability and success rate in experiments highly depends on the quality of the equipment available. The better the quality of the equipment, the more efficient it is in the laboratory.

Gitaxias has been sitting in the corner all-week long. I haven’t added any new songs, photos or videos. Worst, I haven’t charged it yet. And I am still using an old earphones from my sister. I’m thinking of buying a new one and also wondering if soundbar speakers will work with it. This GoGear has no built-in speaker so an earphone is a must to enjoy the music. I’m looking for compatible amplifier or external speakers, too. Or whatever that will make it work even without earphones/headphones/headset. Sometimes, I don’t want something plugged in my ears.

So, what will be new on my playlist? Actually, I can’t think of any. Some ebooks perhaps. I currently have Japanese audios stored on Gitaxias but I can’t remember the last time I listened to it. Oh, maybe a month ago when I was so busy with the blog editing tasks and I wanted something to keep me awake! I have to go back on track. I have to keep listening on those audios if I really want to learn that language.

I’m here in Batangas and I’ve just repaired 3 computers – 2 desktops and a laptop. My eyes are getting dozy staring at different computer monitors. I’m their all around computer technician!
I do not fear computers! I fear the lack of them!
My cousin requested me to reformat their home computer because they weren’t able to open any application. After probing, I found out that it happened after downloading and installing a free antivirus. I suspected that they’ve installed a fake antivirus. No program won’t run in normal mode so I switched the computer in safemode, uninstalled the bogus software and performed system restore. Up and running in less than 5 minutes!
Next is our personal computer. Infected with a virus again. Lots of pop-ups and weird things happening! My sisters are blaming our only brother for inserting infected flash drives from our neighbor. Whew. Worst part is, my own USB disk was infected as well the moment I plugged it in. All of the folders were changed into applications (.exe) and I was not able to upload important zipped files. Luckily, the virus did not corrupt my files, it just modified the folders into applications that opens up into a new window each time you click any of the folder. Annoying! After extracting the files and creating backups, I started cleaning up our computer and USB disks as well. I reminded my siblings to be mindful of what they’re opening and inserting into the computer. I installed a new antivirus, too.
Last one is my other cousin’s laptop. Mozilla Firefox was not allowing her to play YouTube videos but all’s going well with Google Chrome. When I checked, it was an issue with Adoble Flash player plugin. She told me that she had downloaded and installed the plugin several times but still, it won’t work. I tried it myself and same thing happened. With Firefox’ troubleshooting tip, I simply uninstalled older versions and duplicate copies of the plugins manually. Then I downloaded the installer again and installed it manually. Restarted the computer, and all is well.
Come to think of it, I’m doing the same thing at home and at work. Computers all night and all day! But for my relatives, I’m doing it for free!

Wow! My wireless mouse is working perfectly for almost a month now. I used to change its batteries from time to time because its mouse pointer goes haywire when it runs out of battery. I’m loyal to Eveready and using the Eveready GOLD AAA batteries because it’s longer lasting.
Gold performs better!
Now I wonder if anything can beat Eveready GOLD alkaline batteries! How about makita batteries? Yes, I know that rechargeable batteries are way better!
Finally, I can say this with confidence: I am happy and stress free!
This week is over and I am so glad to experience stress-free working days. Actually, I just worked for one day (Tuesday) because I was on sick leave last Monday and had a 3-day classroom training for Windows 7 Client in Makati. It was all about installing and configuring Windows 7, though more on the Enterprise version.
This made me miss my college days even more…
Reliving the life of a typical student...
What’s so nice about this training is that we had it for FREE and we really enjoyed each training session. With a 9AM-5PM schedule, free meals and computer access and my colleagues as my classmates, the setting seems to be perfect! I love more days like these! It was so fun being with bubbly acquaintances and learning from a smart professor!

Cellphones are on sale everywhere. I intentionally let Nokia C6 Slide and LG Optimus One sale pass without resentments. It’s a hype I don’t want to take part of. While more people tried to take advantage of its half-the-price discount, it’s sad to know that most of them went home disappointed… without their coveted phones. Their stories can be found on Facebook, blogs and forums. Blame it to the sale organizer, undisciplined consumers and false advertising. I don’t know the main culprit, I wasn’t there.
Battle of Smartphones: Nokia C6 Slide VS. LG Optimus Optimus One
I’m not thinking of buying a new cellphone for myself or for anyone. I’m still happy with my Sony Ericson K770i and Cherry Mobile C50. As for the smartphones mention above, I think owning one of them is really cool especially when you like to make the most of these multimedia powerhouses. I just hope that they have the built-in ebook reader feature. I’m looking for ebook readers and a phone that has one would be really helpful. I might check Cherry Mobile’s website again. I can’t remember the model unit that caught my attention before. And of course, it has an ebook reader!

I’ve seen people selling it for P13500 for a set. If I remember it right, it was only P2000 per piece few months ago.

Since I wish to use my UW deck without Frost Titan, I’m in dire need of JTMS. I’m searching for this card online hoping that I’ll get some in a cheaper price. Will Jace snatch my 14th month pay? Haha. I wonder. I’m not a control player so I don’t think it’s a good investment… But after being beaten by so many UB control decks with JTMS, my desire to have it becomes more intense!
There are lots of expensive hobby out there such as collecting Gundams, cosplays, Honda Rancher 420 racing, and more! But among them all, MTG got my interest because it stimulates the brain. Mind game, anyone? Unleash your mental prowess by playing with me! LOL.

Remembering my grandmother’s death makes me lonely. Such a lamenting flashback.
I can still feel their presence…
Even if it was already dark and the shady trees were covering my frail figure, the world knew that I was there… Busy scribbling unrecognizable marks in the moist ground while sniffing occasionally. It was so me. A big cry-baby. Her favorite grandchild.
The thought of writing about these jumbled words send me the chills. I could highlight the word grandmother and everything will revolve around it. This is just one of my nostalgic posts. A quick look back in the past reminds me of my grandparents. The best among the best. My grandma is one of the best among my three moms. Yes, I was born to three mothers – my biological mom, my aunt and my grandma. I have to say that grandma is the most lenient and most affectionate. My granddad was a farmer and my father inherents that precious job from him. Living in a farm is very rewarding not to mention that my grandma nurtured everything that was within her reach. The mango and jackfruit trees, the medicinal plants, the rootcrops, the poultry animals, and her grandchildren.
I miss my grandparents so much. You can’t imagine the amount of tears I’ve shed when they passed away. My grandfather was killed. That was the worst night of my childhood. While my grandpa suffered a painful death, my grandma had a peaceful one. She died with her grandchildren around her, and I was holding her hands up to her last breath. It’s been a year…

Which is better for your health – oversleeping or not getting enough sleep?
None.
Getting a decent sleep makes you healthier in all aspects of your life. You become mentally alert, physically strong and emotionally prepared for anything.
The lack of sleep exposes you to more health risks including obesity and psychosis. I have posted the other lack of sleep side effects on SWORD and it was inspired by my 11-hour sound sleep.
You can easily tell if a person overslept or did not get a good sleep by looking at his or her eyes. Too much sleep can cause swollen eyelids while lack of sleep can result to deep and dark eye circles. But with the help of best under eye cream, eye bags can be minimized and the skin around the eyes can be revitalized.
