Don’t Feed the Trolls

Things are getting out of hand. MTG player gone wild. Errr, mad?!

Okay, I just feel like singing today because of him…

TROLL around, every now and then I get a little bit lonely and you’re never coming around
TROLL around, Every now and then I get a little bit tired of listening to the sound of my tears
TROLL around, Every now and then I get a little bit nervous that the best of all the years have gone by
TROLL around, Every now and then I get a little bit terrified and then I see the look in your eyes
TROLL around bright eyes, Every now and then I fall apart

Back To Smart Bro Plug-It Prepaid

Because Globe WiFi is not working right now, I have to plug my Smart Bro USB prepaid kit again. As expected, it’s zero balance. I send prepaid credits through my SMART mobile phone and stayed online for an hour. Well, 75 minutes to be exact including the free fifteen minutes from their Fun Free Fifteen Promo.

And as usual, the internet connection was intermittent. I’m not yet done with my online assignments but I really have to stop for now. I have no choice. Even if I register for 5-day unlimited surfing, I won’t be satisfy with that kind of connection.

I’d rather sleep than bear with this kind of inconsistency. Besides, Chandler needs a rest, too. My laptop warranty will end this December and I really have to take care of him even more.

Bengoshi no Kuzu (Scum of Lawyers)

I’ve got new addiction: Bengoshi no Kuzu!

It’s not a new Japanese series but I just finished downloading it so I’ve got all the time to watch it now. No, it’s not that I’m staying at home during this rainy season. Movies are meant to be watched after shift. *sigh* As much as I want to stay couched potato while Typhoon Juan circles the Philippines, I can’t because I’m still a full-time technical support engineer. Whew, few more months and I’ll be free!

Mr. Kuzu’s approach is impressive. Takeda Masami who’s a new lawyer seems to be inspired yet reluctant at the same time to be his partner in dealing with different court cases. He was puzzled with Kuzu’s unusual behavior toward clients and his contradictory remarks from time to time. Simply proves that a new lawyer has lots of things to learn!

I wonder if there are online accredited degrees that specialize in law. My interest to implement justice becomes deeper and I know that I have what it takes to be a lawyer! *wink*

Beware of Online Deals that Sound Too Good to Be True

Searching for the best mobile phone deals online may seem like a smart move today. No doubt, it is one of the most convenient options of the modern world. You can get a lot of info related to your cell phone plan without even stepping out of your house. However, you must keep in mind that the web can be a very risky place for those who are not security conscious.

Nani?!

How can searching for mobile phone deals lead to security risk? Submitting your cell phone number to websites without checking its privacy policy and its security features can lead to identity theft.

We leave a lot of information about ourselves on various sites. Scam artists need just a few clues to start searching. Information like your email ID, name and address, and your cell phone number can be combined and used to dig up more details.

Of course, if you are foolish enough to submit something as important and vital as your Social Security number, you’re likely to walk into further problems. Do not presume it cannot happen to you. All it takes is a moment’s indiscretion to lose your valuable private data.

The website itself need not always be to blame. Look for “https” in the address bar. If this is absent, your private data may be intercepted and stolen by third party hackers. These low level hackers will stoop to any level to get more information, such as with calls on your cell phone that attempt to hack your mobile banking passwords.

Some people make the mistake of thinking that the web is too risky and that it makes sense to avoid it completely. Well, the web is the future. Ignoring it is only going to prove counterproductive. Instead, you can learn to surf the web safely and enjoy maximum benefit with minimum risk.
