Don’t get fooled by the title because it is not all about healthy living… but happy living.
I was about to have my dental checkup now to adjust my braces but for some “emergency” reason, we have to reschedule it for next week. So here I am, blogging early in the morning about what happened yesterday. Up to this point, I’m not sure if cancelling our sched is a blessing in disguise. It’s been a while since I last played badminton so it’s just understandable that I’m experiencing body pain right now. And yes, that’s extreme as if I need to have a bed rest.
Ok, here’s the real story…
It was almost four in the afternoon when my boyfriend and I reached the meeting place and just what I expected, Ice has been waiting for us. Fortunately, she didn’t look bored, annoyed or something. Haha. Could be her new toy a.k.a. gadget that kept her entertained.
Fast forward: We played badminton for an hour at SureShot sports center. I wasn’t comfortable about the place and the people already playing. I just felt that I didn’t belong. Haha. Talk about Chinese men, athletes, schoolgirls and boys and whatever. Then once we started playing, we got the hang of it. Though quick and pricey, an hour of workout was really fun and enjoyable. My boyfriend also learned how to play the game that day. Haha. I couldn’t help but laughed and teased him about his failed attempts to serve the feather errr, shuttlecock. He’s good with rallying hits but not with serving. I even told him that it’s about the TIMING, same thing that he always tell me when I fail to get the right rhythm and miss a tune while playing the guitar. Huh, you see? While you’re good in playing the guitar, I’m better in badminton. Lol.

Hit it hard!
I had a hearty laugh while using the shower room. Sometimes, figuring out how things work can get really really funny. HAHA. Anyway, after freshening up, we headed to SM San Lazaro for dinner. So much for sweating out when we’re about to intake more calories. I don’t have any problem with it because I’m trying to gain weight so it was really favorable. Heavy meal after a workout? Hope I gain few pounds!
First stop was at the grill station. Lol. It is where you eat ihaw-ihaw and what-not. In short, sa kanto lang. I won’t call it foodtrip for I only had barbecue. Too bad, I missed the grilled chicken/pork liver.
Then we had our dinner at Karate Kid – Chicken Tepanyaki with unlimited rice and iced tea plus Takoyaki for Ice and me. Gyudon, Miso soup and California Maki for Babu. I couldn’t believe that we really ate more than what Ice could have eaten. Haha. Maybe it’s a blessing – eating without the fear of gaining weight.
Last stop was at the grocery then we parted ways. I felt bad that I accidentally hurt Ice’ toes with the pushcart. And to balance things out, karma hit me before the day ends. The bag of groceries hurt my right leg when I lifted it up, causing a kinda long, unsightly scar. Geez. The world knows I didn’t mean it. Ice and Babu knew that very well.
That’s all for yesterday!
