I wasn’t able to update my travel blog post about our most recent trip to Hundred Islands, Pangasinan so I am just sharing this video created by my friend.
Enjoy the video for now. I’ll let you know once my official blog post goes live.

Royal Blue with Silver Accent – that’s my bestfriend’s wedding motif. The celebration was a real success. My bestfriend is officially Mrs. Escubio now. They just got married and I was her maid of honor. It was so heartwarming to witness one of the most special days in my bestfriend’s life! I could sense her happiness and gratefulness… and I felt the same thing.
To Zol and Mike, best wishes and congratulations!
I’ll just share some pictures once their wedding photos are available. I’ve got two shots from Tintin Photography but I didn’t get the chance to scan and upload them before leaving Batangas. I just left them at home. But here’s one photo of me taken by my sister:

Still pretty in blue, right? That’s thanks to my cousin for the makeup. Hehe.
Aside from being happy about the wedding itself, I was also thankful that I was there the night before the wedding day. I’ve met new and old friends at the party. Markee (college friend) as also able to make it at the church and we had the time to chat during the reception. He went there with my family.
So happy! And it made me excited to get married, too. Just kidding!

Bestfriends Forever!
Imagine a whole day affair with your best friend but still, you can’t get enough… Possible, right? It just seems that the stories will never end and I just want to keep the conversation going just to make up for the old days…
As I’ve said on one of my previous posts, my bestfriend is getting married this coming April 15, 2012. She was so busy with the preparation and I really wanted to help her. I’ve finished the invitation’s layout and I just have to print them on a specialty paper. Unfortunately, our printer won’t work even after the ink refill. My bestfriend and her workmate decided to dropby at our place in Batangas to sort things out. We also have to give our body measurement and fit some gowns at the gown rental shop.
After having breakfast, we headed to SM Batangas with my cousins and sister Leona. My cousin wished to sign up for the Samsung Galaxy Y Smart Plan 349 but we didn’t have the complete requirements. We just parted ways and went straight to the printing shop. It took us so long since a lot of things happen – inaccurate number of copies, wrong paper feed, etc. We even walked to and fro the nearest school supplies store to buy extra glossy/photopapers.
Since the printing of invitations was taking a while, we left Leona at the printing shop for the mean time. Zol (my bestfriend), Lhea (Zol’s officemate) and I went to San Pascual for our gown measurement. It was real quick that we headed back to the printing shop right away while Lhea went ahead to her boarding house.
The printing wasn’t finish yet so Zol and I decided to buy some ribbons and envelopes at the National Bookstore. We were both excited to apply the finishing touches at home! Though she was supposed to leave at 7PM, we ended up tired and wide awake until 2AM. Zol took a nap while I was still busy with my laptop. By 5AM, my father and I accompanied her to the bus station since she really have to leave that early.
We had a total of 94 invitations made through continuous cutting, punching holes, and tying ribbons. Big thanks to my siblings! They were really a great help and they even stayed up until we finished everything. Everyone worked hard and I’m sure they’re all looking forward to my bestfriend’s wedding wherein I’ll be the maid of honor. I’m so happy for my bestfriend and I’m missing her right now.

I’m going nuts! I’m more conscious about my health now. I carefully consider the food I eat and the number of hours I sleep. But that’s not enough to drive me crazy. I am all fired up because of my bestfriend’s upcoming wedding! I’m her maid of honor so imagine the excitement and pressure! Lol. What more if I am the bride!

My bestfriend is getting married and I am her maid of honor!
Busy and crazy days ahead! I’m the one in-charge for the invitations and souvenirs since I volunteered myself. And I want to make the best ones for her. Errr, them. I haven’t meet her husband-to-be yet but I’ve heard a lot of good things about him. Plus, my bestfriend is very happy and excited. I know this is what she really like.
Their wedding motif is royal blue with silver accent. She sent me the invitation details along with her photos so I am busy looking for the best wedding invitation templates. I’m not that good with Photoshop so I might use other application to do the layout. I want something simple yet catchy! If you have any suggestion, please let me know. I will really appreciate it if you can recommend a good design/layout for wedding invitations. As for giveaways, lots of ideas are coming through. Haha. So I just have to trim them down and go for the best one.
