Excited for Gawad Kalinga (GK) Home Building Project

I’m almost set. I’ve been busy for the past few days (not to mention that I only had one day off from work) and my current schedule is stressing me that much resulting to daily headaches and back pain. *sigh*

Even if I’m experiencing hell week right now, I’m still happy and looking forward to our Gawad Kalinga (GK) home building project in Caloocan. I don’t know the exact place yet. At first I thought it would be in Batangas or anywhere farther but it’s not. I’m so excited to take part on this life-changing activity outside Trend Micro. Yay! I’ll be dealing with more kids and volunteers from different regions. I just checked the headcount and I believe there would be Japanese representatives, American, Irish, Spanish, and British Trenders.

GK Home Building Project

a better home...

I’m more excited about the lessons I’m about to learn, lives I’m about to touch, and changes I’m about to make…rather, happen. It was my grandest intention to be a part of this project before I leave the company. This is not the beginning of dramatic exit though. I’m really making the most out of my stay here and I’ll surely miss my colleagues especially the clubs and committees that serve as my inspiration on top of my job description.

Oh, I don’t want to be emotional as early as now. Haha!

Alright, done with hundred copies of printed Dino, email blast for solicitation and verbal campaign for the project. Few more days and we’ll be off. I’m still not sure if I’ll bring Chandler with me. Home building would be a week of rigorous activity so I wonder if I’ll manage to blog at night.

Emails Everywhere!

I’m back to work – pile of paper office works. Argh! This bulk of emails is killing me! Gosh, my eyes kinda hurt. Too much strain, I guess.

Alright, I’m back in the right track and here’s what I’ve done so far:
- replied to clients’ emails
- made a follow up to staff writers about their articles
- coordinated with people who are interested in helping Kythe
- deleted spam mails!

Since I’ve been away from work for six days, I felt like I’m not used to working anymore! I even checked my cheat sheets for our premium support number. And I wasn’t sure if I’m saying the right opening spiel. Oh well, done with my first call for the day. I’m so excited to take my break, and that would be few minutes from now! :)

Too lazy for work...

And oh, it’s so sweet of MJ to leave my locker nameplate here. It reads: *my name* and “Team Juliet”. I really have to depend on someone when it comes to name badges, logos and templates. I’m no good with Photoshop.

Day 25: From A Star Scout To A Certified Girl Scout

I can be usually spotted with a big bag on me. Yup, even during my elementary up to college days. I went to a public school so we did not have lockers yet by then and we had to carry all of our books every day. Maybe that’s why I did not grow much. Lol. Petite’s lovely! And during college, I used to carry different notebooks instead of a single binder. Plus, I want plenty room for my things. First aid kit took place the supposed to be space for kikay kit then. Hmmm. I’m the Doraemon of my times, a certified girl scout!

Day 18: Moving Forward

I have talked about my short term goals for this month. This time, let’s be more specific about the long term ones. Who knows, someone out there can help me realize them… :)

Embracing life...

• Own a house and a car (and of course to learn how to drive that car!)
• Put up a restaurant business or cake house/bread shop.
• Have my own online business, most likely SEO firm!
• Get married and live happily ever after. So excited to have my own happy family!
• Travel around the world, 3 international tour per year will do.
• Extend help to other people especially the needy, children and elders. I want to touch more lives…

Hmmm… that’s all I can think of right now. :)

I can feel that… all of these dreams, are just few steps away from reality…
Hold my hand and walk with me, will you?

Day 13: Unsent Letters

I tried my best not to cry while working on this. Almost. I have raised my concern countless times, but they won’t heed. For now, let me vent out. I am writing to my heart’s content so let it be…

my deathnote letter

Fueled by impotent fury...

Few lines to people I hate as of the moment:
“Do your job! Are you familiar with the domino effect? If you can’t do yours accurately, how can we be effective workers?”

“I’m getting tired of reminding you! Are you really forgetful, or it’s just your attitude. Fix your habit and everything will follow.”

“Think out of the box! Listen, listen, listen! And understand.”
