My birthday falls on Chinese New Year so I guess it really means good luck!

My boyfriend and I attended the Sunday mass earlier and we’re planning to stay up until midnight to welcome my birthday! I feel pretty in my red dress. Lol.

... the sweetest words from him...
I’m officially a year older now!
Happy birthday to me and Happy Chinese New Year to all the Chinese out there!
Another busy day and night had passed and I feel heavy and dizzy today. Plus my sore throat is giving me too much discomfort and pain. Blame it to too much sweets from yesterday’s events.

Sweet?
We attended Cael’s Christening at Mt. Carmel Church and the reception was held at Dad’s, West Ave. branch. As expected from me at the ultimate buffet, I feasted on desserts and different types of sweet treats. Cakes, ice creams, leche flan, muffins, chocolates, jellies, pastries and everything milky and sugary – I almost tried them all. Too bad, I didn’t bring my DSLR with me.
Next stop was at Tital Cel’s place. It was also Jace’s first birthday and they had an exclusive celebration at home. Once again, I indulged myself in another serving of ice cream. We also had pancit and barbecue but I wasn’t able to eat that much since I was still full… or should I say, bloated?
We played with the kids while watching Immortals. Jace was so cute especially when he saw his crush for real! Haha. And he was having a hard time choosing between 2ne1 and her. Such a jolly baby!
We had coffee by midnight and we found out that Tital Cel just turned 50! Yay! We greeted her cheerfully and more chit chats followed. We’re having a great time with our conversation until Daiki arrived from his day job. And we had fun even more because he kept telling crazy stories about how his day went. Lol.
As much as we wanted to stay, we had to go home and give our tired bodies a good rest. So that’s how our Sunday special went.

No, this is not your favorite gag show… but one of the special events in Selphie’s life – her first birthday!
Jason Gainza made this picture look like a sitcom snapshot:

Liz, Margaux, Jason, Khim
We’ve got more photos from Mr. Clickerz booth but I decided to share just this one with the star(s) of the show. The rest of the photos are uploaded in Facebook. (Special thanks to Margaux and KC for the tag!)
The birthday celebration was held at Max’s restaurant at Sct. Tuazon. It’s so nice to be reconnected with my fellow teentalkers and real-time friends!
Happy 1st birthday Selphie!
I did not receive a notebook computer for my birthday. I did not wish for it anyway. Hehe. So, how’s my birthday? Simple. In every sense of the word.

I want my next birthday cake to be like this... MTG!
Simplicity means staying at home and celebrating with my family. This time, with my second family – his family. I had a hell week and it drove me nuts. I have another birthday post on Spread the W.O.R.D and you may want to check it out, too.
Family and friends greeted me through text messages, emails and Facebook. Too bad, I couldn’t invite them to celebrate with me. I missed them.
I’m a year older now…
So, what are my plans?
Still the same, have my own business. I used to be confused between being a successful career woman and business woman. I’d rather be the latter. I want to be my own boss. Yes, I am ambitious in a very positive way and I will work hard to realize all of my dreams!
Few days from now, I will definitely be on my own…

It’s my sister’s birthday today! But as much as we want to go to church and celebrate outdoors, we can’t because of her sore eyes. Sad.
While I was busy updating my blogs and she was busy replying to SMS greetings earlier, I asked her what birthday gift she wants to receive from me. As expected, she answered “Anything. You’ve given me a lot of things already and have done much.” True enough, I’ve been her best sister and will always be. I know she’s worrying too much about our expenses and the like, but because this is a special day, I want to treat her somewhere else. Cakes and ice creams are too common. What else could we try?

Sweets for your birthday!
I’m thinking of buying a new stuffed toy or a dress of her choice. Though I’m not sure if she’ll appreciate the special occasion dresses I’ve seen in the nearby boutiques. She’d rather have a pair of jeans and sneakers!
Finally, we’ve decided that we’ll just celebrate next week! Gotta hit the malls and go shopping. We’ll dine out and go bonding!
Happy birthday Dee!
