I have two mobile phones and currently subscribe to three different mobile networks namely SMART, Globe and Sun Cellular. My Cherry Mobile is dual-sim, FYI. So two SIMs for Cherry and one for Sony Ericson.

Of these three networks, Sun Cellular has the weakest signal. I thought it’s signal strength in Metro Manila area is supposed to be stronger than in the province. It is really disappointing to have your conversation suddenly cut off because of limited signal strength – network failure.

I’ve heard that there are already mobile phone amplifier kits available in the market that can increase signal strength. Question is, is it available in the local market? How effective is this mobile cell booster? Do shops have compatibility matrix for each mobile phone and signal booster?
