Monday Madness!

Anime Mad Girl

Keep out!!! She's angry!

I hate Mondays! I was really frustrated earlier due to lots of unexpected issues. Yes, work-related. I logged in two minutes late because I’ve been dealing with the unnecessary updates in our new system ever since I came to the office. Take note, I came in at 9:49PM. I was just preoccupied with the settings and configuration that I let 10:00PM passed by without logging in. Not cool! >_<

Just when I thought I was able to finish the setup successfully, my PC froze and I had to start all over again! Thanks to the “notepad” technology, I can log my case! Tsk. Tsk. I wonder how long my sanity can handle this… I almost gave up when filing a case to our helpdesk. The system is not recognizing my email or just one of the recipients. *sigh* I called my colleague’s attention and vented out in despair. Thanks to him, he figured out my mistake. Typographical errors. Oh man, this is such a stressful day!

I’m so excited to go home! I’ll be out of the office in less than 3 hours! But it doesn’t mean that I can sleep and relax right away. I have to fix my other blogs. I have to read about photography. I have to update my notes. I have to do all the things I’ve missed during the weekend. I know this is not a good start but I’ll do my best to ensure a happy ending for this week! One person is more than enough, though. :)

Imagery: Glow In The Dark

I’m still exploring my Nikon D3000 but I’m already wishing to upgrade it to ND3100. Yeah, I’m fickle-minded but you can’t blame me! I just bought this one in real rush! Yup, just to have a DSLR for our Singapore – Malaysia trip. :)

Anyway, I have so much things to learn and getting familiar with the manual settings is sometimes challenging. I’m not yet used to the perfect adjustment of aperture and shutter speed. *sigh*

When darkness prevails...

See the image above? I just googled it. I love the background, not the girl. I am into dark images and anything that’s close to the shade of black appeals to me. I’m addicted to silhouettes and nocturnal shots. Some sorts of images that will look perfect in wood picture frames! Still, I have so many subjects in mind so shooting pictures won’t really be that easy. I might just go random – from landscape to portraits, that’s promising!

Enough of day dreams! That’s it for now.

A Moment To Remember (Korean Movie)

A Moment To Remember

A Moment To Remember

I watched this movie with my boyfriend last weekend, and oh boy, I couldn’t help but cry to my heart’s content. Though I don’t know any personal casualties of Alzheimer’s disease, the thought of gradually losingĀ  all wonderful memories is really a terrifying one, much more, in an instant. I now fear MENTAL death over the physical death. I don’t want to reach a point wherein I won’t recognize my family and loved ones anymore… I’d love to cherish colorful memories forever, I’d love to express what I feel and treasure every relationship. I won’t be able to accept everything until I’m lifeless.

I started crying from the scene that features Su Jin and the doctor discussing her serious problem up to the ending of the movie. Mind you, it’s 2 and half hours long and I have no idea how much tears I’ve cried! My boyfriend was comforting me then as if he’s the cause of my pain and sorrow. *sigh*

And I cried even more when Su Jin wrote Chul Soo a letter (click the image to enlarge):

Momentary love...

Though this Korean movie was officially released on November 2004, I believe there are few people who haven’t viewed this one yet, worst, who’s not aware that such interesting and touching movie exists and that’s the reason why I’ve got no more spoiler here. For me, “A Moment To Remember” is like “My Sassy Girl” and “The Notebook” in one, so if you’re up for spice and drama you must give this a shot!

Rent-To-Own Condo Units

Because of constant rain, I was not able to join the free tripping to East Residences Ortigas. Actually, I’m having second thoughts whether I’ll avail a unit there or not since I’ve found out that it has been flooded before when Typhoon Ondoy hits the country.

Looking for a new home...

I’ve been looking for rent-to-own condo units for months now. I’m trying to score the best deal yet it seems too impossible to find! Even if I’ll go for cash options, the cheapest would be 2M! Talk about the high-cost of living here in Manila.

Well, developers can’t be blamed for such high price ranges for they’re using good quality products. Though I am not sure if it includes Baldwin hardware. I’d be happy to know if ever they’re using those ones such as the elegant keyed knobs and entrance handlesets. Baldwin products are known for attractive interior and exterior door hardware!

Obsessed Driver?

Thanks Chedeng for giving me a wonderful ride with Marty. :) I had a good laugh with you plus a fast and convenient way of going home. Perfect!

Cool Anime Driver

Want some?

I really admire drivers for I also want to learn driving and I’ve already saidĀ  that multiple times in this blog. Sorry, I’m getting obsessed to owning a car and driving it. Aside from websites of car dealers, I have also checked some car insurance sites giving free quotes and estimates. I’ve ran through different reviews including Mercury insurance reviews. I just found out that this insurance group covers personal auto and mechanical breakdown protection and homeowners insurance. Their services are also extended beyond California.
