I know X-MEN but I am not a fan of Marvel comics so when people are talking about Colossus, I was like; “Colossus, who?!” The only colossus I know is:
Haha. ‘Nuff said. I have officemates here who are into magic and cosplay, too. And what interests me to approach them last time is the glossy outfit of their TL.

Sir Ryan was sooo cool that I asked him to post for me. (Ssssshhh… Yeah, I know what you’ve noticed. Shut up perv, I thought he fixed it when he excused himself before this shot! HAHAHA!)
Colossus (Piotr Nikolaievitch Rasputin) is a fictional character, a superhero in the Marvel Comics universe. Created by writer Len Wein and illustrator Dave Cockrum, he first appeared in Giant-Size X-Men #1 (May 1975). A Russian mutant, the character is a member of the X-Men, and is by far the physically strongest X-Man. Able to transform into a strong metallic form, even without his powers he still cuts a physically imposing figure standing at 7’5″. Throughout the series he has been portrayed as a quiet, shy character, honest and innocent. He’s now a man without a family, having lost all whom he’s ever loved including his parents, brother, sister and even Kitty Pryde, his primary romantic interest. He has had a fairly consistent presence in X-Men-related comic books since his debut. A talented artist, he only reluctantly agrees to use his powers in combat, feeling it is his responsibility to use his abilities for the betterment of human and mutant-kind.
My day started right. I woke up at 12:05AM and greeted my boyfriend a “Happy 27th Monthsary” through text, prepped-up for work and went to the office. A very typical day at a call center when suddenly, someone pissed me off. I won’t delve into details anymore for my YM stat message said it all:
“Pag badtrip na ‘ko, pwede wag ng UMEPAL?! Obvious na inis na, nagtatanong pa!”
I tried my best to stay as calm as possible exhibiting one of our core values: Professionalism. I handled all of my calls with utmost proficiency. People here know how much dedication and passion I have for my job. My favorite line to an irate client: “I love my job”. Just the sound of it relieves stress. But just as I wanted to accommodate more calls within that day (to sustain the SLA, to cover abandoned posts, to help my teammates), my shift was about to end and I have to go home immediately. I can only do much. So I gathered my things and headed to the locker room. When I went back to my workstation, I felt guilty for leaving my TL and other two teammates. Being in a closing shift, they have to endure the queue. Without saying a word, I got my headset back and started answering calls. I was still upset that day. But for some reason, I felt like doing what “I love to do”. I did not file it as an overtime, by the way. As Sir Mon of NG Forum puts it: When you love what you’re doing, it’s like you’re not working.
It felt good afterwards. Ofcourse they’re grateful but that kind of act from me is not new to them. I’m the same responsible Lizzy they’ve met before. I wanted to end my day right so I was thinking of rewarding my self. I couldn’t have a date with BF due to schedule conflicts. Too bad, what a lovely day! I wish to munch Krispy Kreme donuts with him. I need hugs and kisses, real bad.
A sigh after another, I just went to Comic Odyssey at Cybermall and bought three booster packs. For P480, here’s what I’ve got: Luminarch Ascension | Iona, Shield of Emeria | Verdant Catacombs!!! In an instant, it lighten up my mood! And with so much excitement, I texted BF and schedule a date the next day!
Well… that “guilty” feeling is simply REWARDING…
I’m getting lethargic again. T_T I procrastinate more often, get depressed and being bothered by stuff that should not matter at all. We’ve got new TL but I think there is still something missing. Our previous PEP taught me a lot of things but there’s nothing more. It’s not that the usual strengths and areas of opportunities bore me, it’s just – maybe I have set my expectations too HIGH this time. Plus, we haven’t established a stronger and deeper connection yet. For now, let me just focus on Sir Willand’s simple teachings…
